Please enter from East High Street or West High Street to access the car show. A map will be made available closer to June 3. We ask that once cars arrive, they stay until 9pm. We have once again partnered with Knox Foodies to provide our food vendors for the First Friday season, and KnoxPages continues their tradition of sponsoring the Knox Foodies Trail! First Friday attendees will now have an opportunity to participate in the trail for a chance to win prizes from downtown restauraunts! The community corner will be located on West Gambier Street near South Main Plaza, and will feature previews of what will soon be happening in Downtown Mount Vernon! June First Friday will feature MTVarts with a few performances from their upcoming show, Oliver, as well as a performance from Spotlight Dance Studio. Sponsored by New Directions Shelter of Knox County, another element of the Community Corner will focus on the content of Oliver and how to deal with these situations in our communities. Accompanied by several other local agencies that deal in family services, New Directions will have a booth located in the zone! Stop by and check them out!
Also sponsoring the Activity Zone, New Directions has partnered with MVNU Athletics & PAKUnited to present activities for the whole family to enjoy! The Touch-A-Truck station is back! Sponsored by Edward Jones on Coshocton Avenue and located within the Kid's Zone, kids of all ages are invited to get pictures with our local MVPD & MVFD officers as well as their vehicles! From yard games, to team and individual competitions, to interactive attractions, the Activity Zone will be loads of fun this year!
