FIRST FRIDAY CRUISE-IN INFO & RULES

In order to keep all pedestrians, vendors, drivers, and Experience Mount Vernon volunteers safe, the following Cruise-In rules must be abided by at all times:

• 2024 Dates: June 7th & August 2nd

• FREE Pre-registration required;

• Registration tags will be mailed to registrants prior to the event for ease of check-in;

• Registrants may choose their own parking space from the available spaces;

• On-site registration will only take place if space allows and may be subject to a $25.00 late registration fee;

• Cruise check-in/arrival will begin no earlier than 4:30pm;

• Registration tags must be displayed in/on the vehicle for the duration of the event;

• Public Square will go to two-way traffic beginning at 4:30pm to allow for ease of parking;

• Cruise-In vehicles may enter Public Square to check-in via Chestnut/N. Main ONLY;

• East High/South Gay will open for exiting the event at 9:00pm; Vehicles choosing to leave prior to 9:00pm may ONLY DO SO via Chestnut/N. Main;

• Cruise-In displays may be on the North and East sides of Public Square ONLY - no cars may be parked on the West or Southwest sides of Public Square;

• No Cruise-In traffic will be permitted on the following Streets from 4:00pm-9:15pm:

  • South Main Street

  • East/West High Street

  • East/West Vine Street

  • East/West Gambier Street

• Drivers found in violation of the above rules will no longer be permitted to attend First Friday Cruise-Ins.
