Downtown Mount Vernon Events Calendar Submission Form

Do you have an event in Downtown Mount Vernon that you would like to add to the Experience Mount Vernon Downtown events calendar? There is no charge to publish your event, but it must meet the guidelines below and is subject to calendar space. Please use this form to tell us a bit more about your event. 

Parameters:

1. Events must take place within the Experience Mount Vernon Service Area 

2. The publicity of occasional events outside of the service area will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and at the sole discretion of Experience Mount Vernon

3. Events must be open to the public (not specific to members of one organization);

4. Events may have a registration fee and/or process, but please be sure to provide the link or means of registration.

Events we will not publish:

1. Political events such as protests, campaigns, etc as Experience Mount Vernon is an apolitical organization;

2. Neighborhood-specific events (garage sales, neighborhood-specific block parties, etc);

3. Organization meetings (Rotary Club, Kiwanis Club, and the like);

4. Closed events - any event not open and available to the general public;

5. Events outside of the Experience Mount Vernon Service Area. (Exceptions made on a case-by-case basis and at the sole discretion of Experience Mount Vernon)

Please note that submission of this form does not guarantee your event will be added to the event calendar and/or Experience Guide.

Experience Mount Vernon reserves the right to decline any event submissions that promote or condone discrimination, racism, sexism, bigotry, or any form of hate. All events should reflect and support a welcoming, inclusive community. Please note that Experience Mount Vernon may decline any event submission for any reason not listed above.
