DORA Event Application

The DORA (Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area) initiative is run through Experience Mount Vernon, the organization tasked with maintaining and progressing our downtown corridor. This new initiative brings many opportunities to our City, and we are happy to oversee it. In order to best serve our community, the merchants of downtown, and the City of Mount Vernon, we have compiled the following application for you to complete.

Please be sure to answer ALL questions. Missing information or incomplete answers may result in the denial of your application.

The DORA application DOES NOT replace the need for the City of Mount Vernon’s Event Application for large-scale events.

DORA Applications must be received TWO WEEKS prior to the date of your event.
